We got invited to check out LEGOLAND California’s newest Submarine ride: Deep Sea Adventure. It’s a fun attraction for the whole family to enjoy.  We believe this attraction is way better than Disneyland’s Finding Nemo submarine ride because there are actual Sea Animals.

 Lego City: Deep Sea Adventure submarine ride is Merlin Entertainment single largest investment for LEGOLAND Park.

The new submarine brings guests on board a real submarine where they’ll go underwater to discover a truly amazing world filled with more than 2,000 Live sea animals, including several species of stingrays and a variety of sharks. Through the use of touchscreens at each porthole inside the sub, guests can help the LEGO mini figure dive team identify gems , pearls , LEGO gold coins and more throughout the four miniute journey.

The main entrance. Wait time as of 11am was an hour wait. Not too bad for a new attraction.

Kids can play with LEGO while the parents wait in line.

While standing in line we saw this cool LEGO character dressed in a shark suit.

Very interesting facts!

The mission is to discover uncharted sea life and collect sunken treasure scattered around the sea floor. Using the touchscreens located over each porthole, young explorers can long every gem, pearl and gold coin they find.

There are total of 8 submarines on the ride. Each submarines can hold up to 12 passengers.

The tank size of this ride is 350,000 gallons!

there are more than 2,000 different types of live sea animals.

The ride track is 232 feet long.

Inside the gift shop, guests have the opportunity to create their own fantastical deep sea creatures and fun fish. they can then release their creations into a large digital  underwater scene projected on to the set works of the retail store.
