Six Flags Magic Mountain invited us out this past weekend to check out their Fright Fest Opening Night. We were really impressed with their mazes this year. The mazes quality in the last two years is definitely on par with Knott’s Scary Farm.

There are 6 mazes and 7 scare zones at this year’s Fright Fest.

3 NEW mazes: Hell Fest, Condemned, and Sewer of Souls,

3 returning mazes: Aftermath 2, Red’s Revenge and Willoughby’s Resurrected.

We got to the park at 6:10pm. The park look very busy since the parking stretch all the way toward the team member parking lots.

Picked up our media credentials. This pass allows us to film and take photos of all the mazes for you guys to see.

In order to do the 6 mazes, you must purchase a Haunted Maze Pass. General Access is $23 & $18 for season pass holder. Express pass $38 & $33 for season passholder. Scare Zones and shows are absolutely FREE!

The Shadows is a new scare zone this year.

West Coast Racer: The World’s 1st Racing Launch Coasters coming in 2019! Can’t wait to ride it.

During Fright Fest at 7PM “Unleashed” guests can witness monsters escape near DC Universe Entrance.

“Condemned” Our 1st maze of the night. Wow! This new Maze is Incredible. So much detail. There’s also a very tight narrow corridor you have to go through. They also made us crawled through the bunk bed. It’s so good!

The only problem is that some of these mazes does not have music/soundtrack like at Universal Studios Hollywood Horror Nights. Its too quiet, that you can hear screaming in another room.

You guys can experience the maze from the new movie Hell Fest. In theaters September 28th. Such a fun & scary maze to go through. This location used to house Vault 666 Maze.

The NEW Sewer of Souls was pretty good! A fun and colorful maze. They gave us 3D glasses, but we ended up not wearing them.

Red Revenge another returning maze. Still an excellent maze.

Willoughby’s Mansion is still amazingly good.

For the past two years this used to be Suicide Squad scare zone.

Witches Lair a new scare zone near Justice League Dark Ride

Aftermath Maze is probably the Longest Maze in the World. Still good.
