We were thrilled when we got invited by Universal Studios Hollywood to check out The Wizarding World of Harry Potter VIP press event premiere on April 5th.

We got to Universal around 6:30 and there were already some crowds gathered around the Globe fountain to see if they can catch a glimpse of some of their favorite celebrities.

Due to work, we arrived a little bit later than expected and didn’t get to cover the red carpet event.

We did managed to get a few photos of some of the celebrities as we were strolling down next to the red carpet.

We saw Evanna Lynch, who plays Luna Lovegood in Harry Potter movies.

Vanessa Hudgens were also some of the guests that were there. Looks like she playing some jelly bean game.

Ed O’Neil was talking to some reporters.

At around 8, everyone proceeded to the courtyard between Hogwarts castle and Hogsmeade village to check out the opening ceremony show

The show started at 8:45. It event started with a Frog Choir singing high above the center stage. It was pretty darn cool.

Once the Frog Choir left the stage, several key speakers went on stage.

As the speech wrapped up, several actors from Harry Potter were introduced onto the stage.

James and Oliver Phelps make a grand entrance onto stage via the Ford Anglia.

As the speakers and actors went off the stage, John Williams took the stand and conducted the L.A Philharmonic orchestra

It was really exciting to see the Hogswart Castle changed to the music.

As the show ended, we were delighted to see that there were several tables set up through out Hogsmeade village offering guests all the Harry Potter food you can eat.

The food that were served are the one you will find at inside the Three BroomSticks Restaurant

We sampled each of the different items on the menu. We were pretty delicious.

Unlimited Cold and Frozen Butterbeer

As we were leaving the event, we were each giving a Harry Potter interactive wand gift.

Once again, we want to give a big THANK YOU to Universal Studios Hollywood for having us. It was truly magical!
