On June 30, 2016 LEGOLAND unveiled the One World Trade Center, along with over 25 new LEGO models, and new animations.
The new One World Trade Center is the tallest LEGO model standing in the US at 26 feet tall, made with over 250,000 LEGO Bricks, weighing in at more than half a ton, and taking 8 master model builders over 50 days to complete.
This event had included a complimentary continental breakfast and also LEGO filled mugs as gifts to everyone who attended this event.
Upon arriving in Miniland New York, you were greeted with a jazz quartet and two stilt entertainers dressed up as Uncle Sam and the Statue of Liberty, both were quite entertaining.
The unveiling of the One World Trade Center was unveiled with a ribbon cutting with the help of Carlsbad police and fire department.
It’s official! LEGO One World Trade Center is now open for guests to see.
Throughout this event people had the chance to take a look at the refurbished New York LEGO models and the new One World Trade Center
Those are some of the awesome people that help bring LEGOLAND New York City Miniland and LEGO One World Trade Center to life.
The One World Trade Center LEGO is so tall, that it was a bit difficult to capture it all in one photo.
Throughout the day all attendees would take the advantage of the complimentary park hopper tickets visiting all parts of the park, which consisted of The LEGOLAND waterpark and the Sea Life aquarium.
All attendees would have been more than pleased with their visit to the park that day to witness the unveiling of the new LEGOLAND model.
All in all, the unveiling event and spending the day throughout LEGOLAND was a success and very entertaining for people of all ages who attended the event.
Once again, Thanks LEGOLAND California for inviting us!
